14: Punching Nazis Since 1939: A Namor Retrospective

This week Scott and Tony talk about the Imperious Rex guy, a.k.a. the Sub-Mariner, a.k.a. Namor, a.k.a. Mr. Namor McKenzie! But this time, they go back a few extra decades into the Golden Age of Comics, when he fought Nazis and tangled with surface-dwellers in murky waters. Scott starts warming up to Marvel’s oceanic prince, while Tony thinks it might be time to knock him off his pedestal. My cousin and I were comic book junkies as kids. We created this whole comic book world in summer centered on the use of his pool. We called it Summer Spring. He was fair haired so was Aquaman. I’m dark haired and was the SubMariner. Great memories I hadn’t thought about in years. Great show!
