38: Iron Man in the Silver Age!

Scott and I head back to Iron Man’s Silver Age beginnings in Tales of Suspense, tracing how the series grows as Don Heck, Steve Ditko, and a little bit of Jack Kirby shape Tony Stark’s world. We spend time with the early days of the Crimson Dynamo and the first appearance of the Black Widow, and we talk through the arrival of Happy Hogan and Pepper Potts. It was fun to see how these pieces fall into place, and we invite you to hang out with us as we revisit the foundations of Iron Man’s corner of Marvel history.
